This Privacy Policy explains how VentureKap, LLC d/b/a Rent2Ownership ("Rent2Ownership," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit rent2ownership.com (the "Site") or contact us about our program. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to submit through the forms on the Site or send to us by email:

• Contact details – your name, email address, phone number and preferred contact method.
• Housing information – your current address, housing status, current rent or mortgage payment, preferred location, budget or price range, number of bedrooms and move-in timeline.
• Financial and employment information – your income, employment status and length of employment, approximate credit score range, savings, and the circumstances you describe to us about your path to home ownership.
• Merchant information – your business name and type, monthly card processing volume, current processing rate and processor, your timeline for switching, and any merchant processing statement you upload.
• Messages – the content of any question or message you send us.

Please do not send us Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or card numbers through the Site's forms. If we need that kind of information later in the process, we will ask for it through a separate, appropriate channel.

Information collected automatically

The Site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Like every website, the servers that host the Site automatically record basic technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. • To review applications and determine whether you may qualify for the program.
• To evaluate merchant inquiries, including comparing your current processing rates.
• To communicate with you about your application, the program and next steps.

• To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights and the rights of others.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers – companies that host the Site, deliver form submissions to us by email and provide our email and business software. They may process your information only to provide those services to us.
• Program partners – when you ask us to move forward, we may share the information needed to do so with partners involved in delivering the program, such as payment processing providers, lenders, and real estate or title professionals.
• Legal and safety reasons – when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud or protect the rights, property or safety of any person.
• Business transfers – in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, subject to this Policy.

4. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to maintain business records and meet legal, accounting and regulatory requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

• Communications – you may ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
• Nevada residents – Nevada law allows residents to opt out of the sale of certain personal information. We do not sell personal information, but you may still submit an opt-out request to the email address below.
• California and other state residents – depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, such as the right to know, delete or correct personal information and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
